My name is David Bradley James and I’m killing time while I wait for life to shower me with meaning and happiness. |
The left-hand keeps Erik Satie’s 3/4-time while the right hand drips with Miles Davis’ cool and he does it with more space than sound. George Shearing’s album “Grand Piano” has some of his interpretations and musings on compositions that he has done and from the works of others. This one is my favorite track: “It Never Crossed My Mind” is Satie’s “Gymnopedie No. 1” interspersed with Miles Davis’ melody.
